After a student is pre-enrolled, families can apply for tuition aid through Tuition Aid Data Services, an independent agency that determines tuition aid awards for each family. The cost is $34, families are responsible for $17 and MLHS pays $17.
We want to make it possible for every student that wishes to benefit from a Lutheran high school education
to be able to attend MLHS.
Over 30% of MLHS families qualify for scholarship assistance.
Some association congregations offer tuition assistance for their students attending MLHS.
The generosity of others provides the funding for this program. MLHS Student Tuition Aid dollars come from:
A. Donations to the Student Tuition Aid Fund
B. Specific fundraising events
C. LWML grants
D. Minnesota Independent School Forum grants
E. Interest income from these
Student Tuition Aid Endowment Funds:
Martin Luther High School
Melvin Logemann
Esther Smith Mohwinkel (nee Kosbab)
Hazel Flohrs
F. Estate Gifts
MLHS uses Tuition Aid Data Service (TADS) to conduct its financial need assessments for families that request assistance in paying tuition.
Application Deadline is June 1st.
Families need to complete only one application to receive MLHS tuition aid. The TADS application must be filled out by all families seeking any MLHS financial aid for the upcoming year.
By using an independent source, the application process is fair and confidential.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Principal Paul Steinhaus.
