Martin Luther High School is blessed to have nineteen Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod congregations supporting the MLHS ministry. The leadership of the pastors, teachers and church board members is sincerely appreciated. All Associate congregations are committed to providing spiritual support through regular prayers and pastoral leadership. Martin Luther High School Sunday is celebrated by all congregations the first Sunday in December. Member congregations are asked to include inserts in their bulletins, put up a display, allow time for a speaker and have door offering for MLHS.

Each congregation is represented by delegates which make up the school’s governing body. Delegates meet three times per year and serve as a liason from MLHS to their church.

Congregations with a communicant membership under 500 shall select four delegates; 500-1,000 six delegates; and over 1,000 eight delegates.

Church Association Membership commitment includes :

• Encourage members to enroll their students at MLHS

•Participate in Association capital fund campaigns

•View and promote MLHS as an extension of the congregational ministry.

•Forward financial support according to long term plans

1. Full Members—6% of annual budget in monthly payments from the congregational treasury (with annual increases as set by Delegates and Board of Directors)

2. Associate Members—distribute giving envelopes to its members, continue to support MLHS at their present level and work to obtain a goal of 50% membership support (3% of annual budget with annual increases as set by Delegates and Board of Directors)
