ROPES COURSE
What should I wear?
You should dress comfortably for the weather. You will be outside the entire day, so wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty. There is climbing involved on the high elements, so we recommend wearing loose fitting pants or shorts. Open-toed shoes and sandals are not allowed on our course.
Who, What, Where, When, Why and How?
Two generous donors gave a $1,000 gift to MLHS designated to provide an enrichment learning experience for our students on the Maverick Adventures Ropes Course at Minnesota State University.
The graduating Class of 2025 also wanted to give an Enrichment Trip experience to the student body as their class gift to the school. We combined the resources of both gifts to offer:
A. The Maverick Adventures Ropes Course.
(Limit: 40 students for 4 hours)
Or
B. A trip to the Treaty Site History Center in St. Peter and an adventure at the Kato Escape Room (Limit: 40 students for 4 hours)
3. This is a mandatory school day and all students (7-12) are expected to attend and participate in this fantastic Enrichment Learning Experience.
4. The special day is Friday, October 3, 2025.
5. The bus will leave MLHS at 8:00 a.m. and will return at 3:00 p.m. **Please note that students should be on time and may have to make transportation arrangements to and from MLHS.
One bus will travel to Minnesota State University

After the history tour students will have lunch there and then go the Kato Escape Room 619 S Front Street, Mankato

6. Each student will receive a ham & cheese croissant, potato chips, baby carrots, fruit, dessert and milk for lunch. There is no cost. They may bring snacks for the bus ride also.
7. Students should dress in casual clothes and wear appropriate footwear (tennis shoes) as the day will include many outdoor games and activities.--NO CROCS OR SWEATS
