The Martin Luther Jr./Sr. High School Parent/Teacher League is pleased to sponsor a special presentation for our students on Christian relationships. Thanks to the generous support of the PTL, all expenses for this event are being covered.
Our guest speaker will encourage students to view relationships through the lens of God's Word, offering practical, Christ-centered guidance on friendship, dating, respect, purity, and living out their faith in today's world. We are grateful for the Parent/Teacher League's commitment to supporting the spiritual growth and well-being of our students through opportunities like this.
On Wednesday, October 21, Christian Speaker + Marriage Coach, Amanda Beilke, comes to Martin Luther Jr/Sr High School for Chosen, Not Chasing, an engaging event built for the real questions our kids are facing. In a culture that ties their worth to being noticed, chosen, or paired up, Amanda brings a freeing message: they are already chosen and deeply loved by God, so they never have to chase approval or a relationship to feel like enough. Through two sessions crafted for each age group, grades 7 through 9 and grades 10 through 12, students will learn to see one another as brothers and sisters in Christ, guard their hearts and friendships, treat others with genuine kindness, and catch a beautiful vision of God's design for love, purity, and one day, marriage. They will leave knowing that their lasting joy is found in Christ. Parents, this is the conversation you have been praying someone would have with your kids, and students, this is the reminder you did not know you needed: your worth was settled long before anyone ever swiped, liked, or noticed. Come expecting hope, honesty, and a whole lot of encouragement!
