We love seeing the transformation of
our junior high students!

Wilson Bell-Zich says that his favorite class is Science because he wants to be a game warden later on in life.
The most valuable thing he learned this year was how to use proper English.
He likes making new friends at MLHS and being able to hang out with them.
He advises students going into Junior High not to worry because it isn't as hard as it seems and everything works. Life is a garden--dig it!
As a high school student he is looking forward to playing sports, getting his license and hanging out with friends.

Christian Drayer's favorite subject is History because he learned about the Civil War and other events. The most valuable thing he learned about this year was old events and having a nice time in history.
His favorite memory is playing with the "boys" and other people.
He advises students going into junior high to have fun and embrace the moments with other people.
In high school he looks forward to how other things work and having a taste of high school life.

Kimi Hansen's favorite subject is Art. She has learned about different types and forms of art. She learned that she can be very creative.
This year she learned that she should just act her normal/weird self and if other people don't like me, then that their problem because they are missing out! :)
Her favorite memory is the softball tournaments junior high competes in. They make a lot of great memories and have fun. In 7th grade she got hit in the face by the ball.
Her advice: Don't stress so much about school. Study for tests (especially History), but don't waste all of your time studying--make sure to give yourself breaks.
In high school she is really looking forward to being in Drama. She loves watching their productions and can't wait to be a part of them.

"A really valuable lesson I learned this year was that, if you be quiet tings will move way faster," says Luke.

"I can't wait to be fully included in all sorts of new things in high school. As a junior high student you don't get as many privileges as the high schoolers," he says.

Ryley Petersen has three favorite subjects. They are History, Art and Math. She has always liked History and Art but Math has never been something that she liked until this year.
Her favorite memory is going to up the Guthrie Theater to watch the play "The Mousetrap." It was a fun day and everyone had a good time.
Her advice to students entering junior high is to try your best, have fun and enjoy the year.
She is looking forward to having only four years left of school when she enters high school.

William Rossow's favorite subject is Vocabulary because he is learning so many new words.
